Taylor calls Nathan up. She got a job in Georgia and he decides to pay her a visit. It seems he is hoping for something more than just fun, when he suddenly backs off. He can't do that. "Not because of Haley, but because of me". Even though Lucas and Dan seem to get along well, Lucas and Andy are actually working together to bring Dan down, but this might be tough, since it's clear Dan has no intentions of losing anything.

Taylor tells Nathan he shouldn't be waiting for Haley. He has to live his life without her, and, even if she decides to come back, he needs to decide whether he wants her back in his life or not.

Since Brooke didn't show up at Karen's Cafè and did come back home drunk, Karen grounds her. Brooke is taken off-guard - grounded? What's that?

Peyton and Jake continue hiding Jenny from Nicki. Meanwhile, after meeting with her ex-girlfriend, Anna tells her parents the truth about her sexuality and decides it's time to go back to her boarding school. Lucas is really sorry she's leaving and tells her she has been a very good friend.

It seems Brooke has learned her lesson, and Karen is happy about it.

Jake gives Jenny to Whitey to take her to a safer place. Unfortunately, since he doesn't want to tell the police where Jenny is, he gets arrested.

Nathan comes back home and there a message from Haley waiting on his answering machine; nevertheless, a newly empowered Nathan deletes it without even listening to it.
